Meet Plamedie Masiala. She is a driven, caring, and meticulous young woman. Plamedie has recently received her bachelor of science at Central Washington University Aujgust 2021. Plamedie has worked in retail as a sales associate for five years, which means that she has great customer service skills, attention to detail, business awareness, and work ethic skills. Plamedie is also a former athlete at Central Washington University and used to compete in the 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles, and the 4x4 relay. Being an athlete for most of her childhood, Plamedie understands hard work and dedication.

 

Plamedie’s hobbies are modeling, styling and acting. She has a passion for fashion and a love of the camera. She loves to express herself through photos and through her personal style. Fashion and modeling is her safe and happy place. Plamedie is a published model. She made the cover of a textbook, “Biomechanics of Sport and Exercise” by Peter M. McGinnis, Fourth Edition. Plamedie is also a part of the Central African Association at Central Washington University. This group helps spread knowledge on the culture and history of different countries in Africa.

 

Plamedie’s aspiration in life is to become a first-generation millionaire.  She wants to change the narrative and become a role model for young girls that look like her because representation matters and is very important.
